The usual Christmas party happens every year, so why not do a themed party? That’s how we ended up hosting our “Xmas Casino Night” in December. In the invitations we promised a glamorous and exciting Las Vegas-style atmosphere and asked the guests to wear elegant evening attire. Then on day X our company building was slowly transformed into a stylish casino and after the initial shyness was overcome and everyone had secured their place at a roulette, blackjack, craps or poker table, there was no more holding back.
It was just a pity that at some point the first few people started to go broke. But lo and behold, there was a charming hawker’s tray girl who kept the ladies and gentlemen busy with tricky riddles and then gave them a token or two when they guessed the correct answer. And in no time at all, you were back in the game, or rather at the gaming table.
And if the croupiers hadn’t had to go to the next event, our staff would probably still be gambling ... ;-)
In short, it was a very successful Christmas party that the staff will certainly remember for a long time.
So I’d like to say a big thank you to the entire Royal Events team. You are simply fantastic - professional, competent, fast, reliable, patient, friendly and always good for a laugh! Keep up the good work!
This was not our first event together and it certainly won’t be the last - I promise!
