History

The making of Royal Events is closely linked to the event-series "Casino Royal."
The very first "Casino Royal" happened in a backroom in 1998 with only 20 guests
and one Roulette table. Even then, however, the top priority was to provide a
unique gaming experience in a high-class atmosphere. With 600 guests and 18
gaming tables on December 25, 2007 the event at the Café Moskau in Berlin-Mitte
has been the definite highlight of this event-series so far.
Between 1999 and 2007 the event was moved to ever-larger venues to accommo-
date the growing number of guests. The theme of the event was "The Roaring 20s"
and took place over Christmas each year. Additional casino games like Black Jack,
Craps and Poker were incorporated, as well as performances by popular live-bands
like Andrej Hermlin and his Swing Dance Orchestra.
Andrej Hermelin confirmed in 2001: "Our orchestra has been to New York numerous
times. We've performed in the famous Hotel Pennsylvania, the legendary Rainbow
Room of the Rockefeller Center, as well as almost every Swing-Club in the city. The
1930s are still very alive there. But nobody has managed to create an atmosphere as
authentic as your Casino Royal."
As a result, the idea of bringing this unique atmosphere to events all year round was
born. Royal Events Bansemir & Partner was founded in early 2002, and was initially
run while in the process of completing a business administration degree.
After successfully graduating form the Humboldt University, both business partners
made Royal Events their full-time focus and have since planned and managed over
100 events per year all throughout Germany.
